Puji syukur kehadirat Allah SWT, Tuhan Yang Maha Kuasa, atas limpahan rahmat dan karunia-Nya, sehingga PT Asuransi Bintang Tbk (selanjutnya kami sebut “ASBI” atau Perseroan) berhasil melewati tahun buku 2022. Pada kesempatan yang baik ini atas nama Direksi, izinkan kami melaporkan Laporan Tahunan PT Asuransi Bintang Tbk untuk tahun buku 2022 beserta Laporan Keuangan yang telah diaudit oleh Kantor Akuntan Publik Mirawati Sensi Idris (anggota Moore Global Network Limited) sebagai bentuk dari pertanggungjawaban atas pengelolaan Perusahaan pada periode tersebut dan merupakan bagian dari penerapan prinsip-prinsip Tata Kelola Perusahaan yang Baik.
Tinjauan Ekonomi Nasional
Perekonomian Indonesia di tahun 2022 semakin mengalami pertumbuhan meskipun masih berada dalam kondisi Pandemi Covid-19. Seiring dengan penanganan Covid-19 yang semakin baik, Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) mencatat, pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia di sepanjang tahun 2022 tumbuh sebesar 5,31 persen, lebih tinggi dibanding capaian tahun 2021 yang sebesar 3,69 persen, terlebih lagi pada tahun 2020 yang mengalami kontraksi pertumbuhan sebesar 2,07 persen. Dari sisi produksi, pertumbuhan tertinggi terjadi pada Lapangan Usaha Transportasi dan Pergudangan sebesar 19,87 persen. Sementara dari sisi pengeluaran pertumbuhan tertinggi dicapai oleh Komponen Ekspor Barang dan Jasa sebesar 16,28 persen.
Ekonomi Indonesia triwulan IV-2022 terhadap triwulan IV-2021 mengalami pertumbuhan sebesar 5,01 persen (y-on-y). Dari sisi produksi, Lapangan Usaha Transportasi dan Pergudangan mengalami pertumbuhan tertinggi sebesar 16,99 persen. Sementara dari sisi pengeluaran, Komponen Ekspor Barang dan Jasa mengalami pertumbuhan tertinggi sebesar 14,93 persen. Ekonomi Indonesia triwulan IV-2022 terhadap triwulan sebelumnya mengalami pertumbuhan sebesar 0,36 persen (q-to-q).
All praise be to the presence of Allah SWT, God the Almighty, for His abundant mercy and grace, PT Asuransi Bintang Tbk (hereinafter referred to as “ASBI” or the Company) managed to go through the 2022 financial year. On this favorable occasion, on behalf of the Board of Directors, allow us to convey the Annual Report of PT Asuransi Bintang Tbk for the financial year 2022 and the Financial Statements that have been audited by the Public Accounting Firm Mirawati Sensi Idris (a member of Moore Global Network Limited). This is a form of our accountability for the management of the Company during that period and a part of implementing the Good Corporate Governance principles.
National Economic Review
In 2022, the Indonesian economy continued to grow amidst the remaining Covid-19 Pandemic condition. Along with the better handling of Covid-19, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) noted that Indonesia’s economic growth throughout 2022 grew by 5.31 percent, higher than 3.69 percent in 2021, and much higher than the growth of 2.07 percent in 2020. In terms of production, the highest growth occurred in the Transportation and Warehousing Business Sector at 19.87 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth occured in the Goods and Services Export Component of 16.28 percent.
The Indonesian economy in quarter IV-2022 compared to quarter IV-2021 grew by 5.01 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, the Transportation and Warehousing Business Sector recorded the highest growth of 16.99 percent. While in terms of expenditure, the Goods and Services Export Sector recorded the highest growth of 14.93 percent. Indonesia’s economy in the fourth quarter of 2022 compared to the previous quarter grew by 0.36 percent (q-to-q).
